What is an Emojibator?

An emoji-shaped vibrator, made by the American brand of the same name.

The first one launched in 2016, designed in Philadelphia by Joe Vela and Kristin Fretz, and the line has stayed with emoji-inspired shapes since. The name is the two halves of what it is: an emoji you'd recognise plus a vibrator. What Heather's stocks is the food-shaped external vibrators along with one rope, all body-safe.

Are Emojibator toys body-safe?

The brand says its vibrators are medical-grade or food-grade body-safe silicone, and body-safe materials are the standard here.

On its own site Emojibator describes the vibrator range as non-toxic, phthalate-free and odourless, in high-quality medical-grade silicone or food-grade body-safe silicone. It also says the toys marked body-grade silicone haven't been tested to standards as rigorous as its medical-grade ones, so the two labels aren't quite the same thing. How do you use an Emojibator?

On the outside, on the lowest setting first.

Wash it before the first use, then hold it against the clitoris or the area around it and move it slowly until you find a spot you like. Start on the lowest setting and step up when you want more. If there's any drag, a water-based lubricant sorts that out. The leaflet in the box has the specifics for switching your one on, and Emojibator says its vibrators are waterproof or water-resistant, so washing afterwards is straightforward. Dry it fully before it goes back in the drawer, and ease off if anything feels sore or numb.
