Description

"THE Period Cup" is made from platinum silicone and sits low and soft inside you, collecting rather than absorbing. It measures 4 cm across the rim and 6.8 cm in height, has a 15 ml capacity and can stay in for up to 12 hours, which covers a work day, a gym session or a full night's sleep without a thought.

Between uses, rinse it with cool water and boil it at the end of your cycle. Femintimate notes the cup is not a contraceptive and is not designed to stay in during sex, so plan around that.

Expect a learning curve. Folding and placing a cup takes two or three cycles to feel natural, and on heavy days 15 ml means emptying it more than twice.
