"The Astronaut"

A ridged wave runs the whole length of "The Astronaut", so the sensation changes as it moves. It's solid stainless steel, 20.5 centimetres long and 3.2 centimetres at its widest, and Satisfyer's guarantee on it runs to 15 years.

At 676 grams it's substantial, and that weight is the reason to choose it: it presses where you angle it and your hand does very little of the work. If you've used steel before and want more texture than a plain curve gives you, this is the one to move to. There's nothing soft about it, so it's not the toy to start on if you're still learning what width suits you.

Warm it in water or chill it in the fridge for a few minutes if you want temperature in the mix. Satisfyer's own instructions say a little lubricant helps it go in smoothly, so use one, and rock it slowly rather than thrusting.
