If ordinary lubricant has left you itchy or sore afterwards, a short ingredient list is worth trying. The gel is clear, odourless and neutral in taste, so nothing lingers on your skin or your sheets. The bottle dispenses easily with one hand, and 150 ml goes a long way.

Use as much as you like and add more when the glide starts to fade, the way any water-based gel behaves. EasyToys lists it as suitable for vegans. One caveat worth knowing before you buy: it is a newer bottle in the range, with only seven reviews on the EasyToys site so far, so there's far less customer feedback to lean on than with the standard EasyGlide.
